Dakine Men’s Titan Gloves

Dakine Men's Titan Gloves
  1. Behind the Titan weather Shield shell and Rubbertec palm, a GORE-TEX waterproof breathable insert protects the high loft insulation from melting snow and ice.
  2. A removable, washable stretch fleece liner amps up warmth in extreme cold, and there is an external waterproof Zippered stash pocket on the back of the hand.
  3. The gloves have a neat goggle squeegee on the left thumb and a nose rub dealeo on the right thumb.
  4. One pocket on each glove so you can insert hand warmers or something else that’s small.
  5. I have to take a break every 35 minutes if I’m working hard or 25 minutes if I’m not moving as much.
  6. The liners included with these gloves are very nice, but they are too tight when I wear them both together.
  7. I use the liners to work in the refer and the gloves for the freezer.
  8. There is pocket on the back for hand warmers, which I’m sure would be nice.
  9. My employer actually had these same gloves when I started my job.
  10. They were basically new, but after around 3 months of handling ice cream and bacon, the seams at the fingers started to tear open.
  11. I just bought the same ones again because they were decent enough.
  12. On the right glove I am having some problems with the plastic cinch that allows the forearm elastic to be tightened.
  13. Sometimes it doesn’t tighten, but if I press the button in hard enough, it regains its ability to grab the elastic for a couple days.
  14. These gloves aren’t bad for working in the freezer, but they are probably better for snowboarding 😀 I will try a pair of “Ninja’s” next.
  15. Have been using these for 3 days in varied conditions, warm day just above freezing I just used the outer gloves which fit great and do everything as expected.
  16. Most notably they breathe really well so no sweaty hands which is a must for snowboarding.
  17. Today was really wet and the outer material got soaked, the temp was a few degrees over freezing and I used the inner gloves inside this time and the gloves still fit really well.
  18. Hands stayed really dry, nose wipe on right thumb and goggle wipe/squeedgy on the left, both worked great in heavy snow.
  19. Wrist straps saved me from loosing them on the chairlift.
  20. The inner gloves have the screen conductive tips the outer gloves do not.
  21. All in all great gloves for wintersports, the carbon color is more of a navy blue and not as pictured which was a bit dissapointing.
  22. My hands still get pretty cold just shoveling snow from a typical two-car driveway.
  23. They do a fine job down to about 25F, but for really cold temps they underperform.
  24. The credit card pockets on the top can be used for hand warmers.
  25. The have long snow cuffs great for keeping snow out of your sleeves and gloves.
  26. Very high quality and with care should last a long time.
  27. The temp was 10F and within 30 minutes I felt as of I had frostbite on several of my fingers.
  28. Immediately went into a ski shop and brought a pair that easily kept my fingers when.
  29. If you ate going somewhere cold, I would Not recommend.
  30. I received lasted 5 years of riding my Harley in very cold weather almost daily.
  31. I skied 3 days in a row after I got them for Christmas, one of the days was single digits out and my hands stayed warm the whole time.
